Product Description
A book by Master Boris Tikhanovsky. Boris comes from Russia, from where he came to the Czech Republic in 1990 to treat and lead healing courses. In Russia, he compiles new medicines and works as the director of the Center for Alternative Medicine in Voronezh. His main teacher was Professor MUDr. Roman Zolotnický, who lived and worked for 15 years in Tibetan monasteries, from where, among other things, he brought recipes for Tibetan preparations, many healing methods, including secret procedures that are passed down only from teacher to student. And he chose Boris as his best student to be his successor, and decided to pass on his rich experience to him. Now Boris Tikhanovsky is trying to pass on everything through healing courses, books, DVDs and CDs to those who need to improve their health and want to work on themselves. For thousands of years, the wonderful and mysterious Tibetan medicine was made available to only a few individuals. Only a few hundred years ago, some secret tantras began to be taught in Tibetan medical schools. The theoretical part of the book deals with phytotherapy, especially its history and its journey from faraway Asia to Europe, and it also explains in detail the applications and effects of Tibetan preparations. The book also describes some herbs used in Tibetan medicine. Their chemical composition and use are commonly known to us, but unusual applications of these herbs in Tibetan medicine are also listed. The book tries to provide practical advice for some diseases. The Five Tibetans is a relatively well-known and widespread exercise complex in the Western world. Unfortunately, it is not always performed correctly. The book provides its full text, including proper breathing, meditation concentration and relaxation positions, without which this complex would be a mere physical exercise. You will also find Tibetan stretching Monk’s Morning and Dragon Stretching – methods with which lamas start their day. Daily exercise allows them to maintain maximum mobility of joints and spine until old age. These practices lead to the fact that a hundred-year-old “old man” has more energy and health than a 70-year-old “younger colleague” living in Europe. The sets presented here have not yet been published in any book. One of the chapters is dedicated to Tibetan pulse diagnostics, so that the reader can get an idea of the scope and complexity of diagnostic methods.
